Today was the day of the national day celebrations in school. To let us reach out to help the less fortunate, this year's national dat theme, the school has orgainised a CIP event for us, which is newspaper colection at Taman Juring. Thre funds colected from the sale of the newspaper will be used to help organise a camp for underprivileged children in the Taman Jurong Constituency.

Early this morning, after the wonderful display by other fellow schoolmates, we set off towards our destination, almost leaving some of our classmates behind:P I was put in to Timothy Ling's group and we were allocated block 151. With only 6 floors and 76 units, we finished in under an hour and had to wait for the other groups.

From this newspaper collection CIP, I learnt that as Singaporeans, we must give a helping hand to the needy and less fortunate. Although I had met with some residents who were reluctant to work with us, it was a pleasure to be able collect the newspapers and old clothes. Some residents very willingly handed us stacks of newspapers, while some others had left them outside their home for us to collect. It was heart-warming to see that Singaporeans are so wllingly to help.

Although it was tiring having to carry the newspapers and the clothes, I had gained a valuable lesson from this CIP event.

I would like to wish everyone a happy national day. HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!! :D

Oh yes everyone, I'm back blogging cus apparently people have realised that I have been slacking for the past 2 months (: Revival!(:

Today, I should start by posting about etsuko's birthday celebration today!!! No ex-pupils day, birthday celebration!!! (actually it was planned before it was cancelled, so it was much of a coincidence:] ) Yay, at least I got to meet up with my friends today (: Etsuko, yi xuan,yen siang, ariel, lin qi, jaron and daniel chin all went to nyny to eat lunch (without me and randy, cus I got sore throat)

SO ENVIOUS!!! >.<

Okay, lets just move on without talking about what food I had to eat at foodcourt... Apparently those people who I envy were eating so slowly that even after 20 minutes, only jaron finished (hungry?) Then we spent the rest of the time talking, talking, talking... After like forever, eat birthday cake!!! And it was mango cake!!! YAY!!! Candles, cake, candles, cake... At least I had a slice of it (:

But I had to leave before xin jie could come!!! Sad face :( But at least etsuko's happy, or must I say, very.

lol track finals last thrusday and hci owned the competition again. WE WON B &C DIV!!! DOUBLE CHAMPS! WOOTS! (: (i'm in track, so im happy)

damn tired, finals ended at 7+, than we had track dinner, which Samuel missed the bus to Sakura cus he was following yi zhe. lols(: Dinner was totally great, our table, especially the sprints people, spammed at least 15 pieces of salmon. Then one of them did what the author looked like he was doing:

Eh, i thought i just served them salmon? They are eating salmon and i am serving them salmon?!? (then waiter serves 4 plates of salmon with damn buay song face xD)

Dinner ended at 10, took public bus back home. What the crap la. We missed one 151 at 10pm, waited for some shit 40min for the next one, which was almost full, and another empty one came 5min later... Must complain about bus service.seriously.

Reached home at 11+, then had to do my photoshop/homework which I needed to hand up the next day... Amost late for school...

HAHA b'cus of track finals results, we had half day! wanted to go back to nanyang, but decided not to... sad :(

Lols boredom is totally killing me nowadays. I am bored even NOW? Anw boredom is making me post today(:

Was smsing weisheng throught my science lesson(:haha. Then I accidentally, accidentally used timothy toh's phone and played 'light on'. Nokia phone, fumbled with it, not my fault. Threw it in my bag, zipped it up and covered my bag with another bag. Didnt really work, lung still managed to hear the song... Anw then as the song was on loop, the song was playing over and over again for 30 minutes, but my sci teacher did not hear anything :P(我偷笑...) Finally the bell rang, and the song eventually came to an end, and I heard it no more(but there was still echos of it when I was writing my cl compo...)

fyi, i may from now on, hate david cook xD

Oh I forgot to post about the visit to toa payoh care corner on tuesday afternoon. Last Tuesday, me, xin jie, zheng jie and jaron went to toa payoh lorong 7 block 5 to do some CIP and for our projects day. (NOTE: JARON IS NOT IN OUR PROJECT GROUP. YI PIN IS(:) anw we took 157 there at around 2.30, in hope of finding some of my nygh frens(: especially etsuko...(evil grin....) When we arrived at the Toa Payoh care corner, we contemplated on wether we should have went in the first place. After a while, we stepped into the centre, warmly greeted by the person-in-charge, ms lim. She showed us around, and afterwords, we mingled with the senior citizens at the centre and it was a joy to talk to them, as we told them about life in hwa chong, and asked about them. At around 4, we started to clean up the kitchen at the centre for them, and under the supervision of a kind uncle, we cleaned up the kitchen in no time. We had also helped to clean the HUGE glass panel outside the kitchen and it was quite enjoyable as we worked together. I learnt that only if we work together, we will be able to be productive and increasing the rate of work(: At around 4.45, we left the centre, promising them we will be back(: Left for toa payoh hub, took 157 back home with zheng jie, while jaron and xin jie took the mrt home. Had a great day, enjoyed it, hope we will get into the semi finals after the second prelims.

Ahhh, my blog half dead...

Finally, my first post. Okay, what should I write. Im lost for words....

Last Sunday, which was yesterday btw, raining heavily before competition. Wasted 2-3 hours waiting at gombak for our event.... We almost like miss the event totally, but we were super lucky, cus we arrive just as they were going onto the track. Me ran 800m, 2min45sec, sucks right?

Today, nothing much happened, except that my la teacher, which is also (conincidentally) my form teacher, scolded my classmates for nothing and became angry. But you cant blame her, she's OLD...

Then boring stuff, supposed to have went to toa payoh care corner, but didnt. Pwn CCA today and went home.

Random... But at least i posted, so its not dead (yet)(:

Today was sort of ok cus we had training at Bukit Gombak Stadium, but we did not run around the stadium(???) anw we ran around and round til we reached bukit batok/hillview park then we started running up the trail and saw monkeys. They looked like they were going to attack us, thus walking very slowly past the monkey. there was a gang fight and injured monkey hobbing by. Then we all wanted to play at the playground. HAHA (: Then gone back to stadium, then to MRT station and we saw Xin Jie back from Sentosa from his church camp(:

Oh, back from the camp. Schools out and yes its finally the holidays!!! (:

I just couldn't find time to post yesterday or the day before...

Oh and yes, the camp was okay, due to the fact we were able to sleep in dorms, on proper beds and actual pillows with electric fans at night. HAHA no cold hard floor for us, but seriously I pity those that have to sleep in the A huts and the tents (ha:) ) The food was so-so and they should have provided more food...

DAY 1
Last Wednesday, i left home at an amazing late time but I still, miracously, reached school on time. After flag raising, we all got split into groups of 20, most of us with our classes. Then we spent the next 1.5h sitting and playing ice-breaking games - useless -, then finally we were able to board the bus to Sarimbun...

30+ mins on the bus, only when we reached there we then know we were sleeping in the dorms (: After unpacking and sorts, we waited and waited before we had our lunch. Then we got to climb on top of tyres, and go down the milo pool (: but i didn't manage to go down... But i still got splashed with 'milo' all over me, so we all had to be hosed down with clean water.

Outdoor cooking: orange egg, sweet banana and jungle doughnut. We all managed to try our creations and they were quite nice, but the sweet banana was like, just a banana? Then we had our dinner and shower, which we had our own cubicles (thank god). Then, song session, preparation for camp, supper, debrief and sleep. Thats all on day 1...

DAY 2
Woke up at 5.30, wash up, breakfast, area cleaning, then comes the fun. We had rafting!!!

Seriously, I did not have the time and energy to blog yesterday, so I will talk abt yesterday TODAY and today TODAY too!!!

Yesterday, we HCI ppl had a half day as the A level results were good. hippe(: Then we spent like almost 2h playing soccer outside my classroom!!! Wow, we had like super lots of time that day...

Ok, then yesterday was much of more boring after that... lols. Now I will talk abt today!

Today was much boring at start, but I had to go for some cross-country competition at Bedok Reservior today. We started at around 3 and before that the day was getting darker, bit by bit... While running, it started drizzling and by the time I finish we had finished the race, it started pouring heavily. As in HEAVILY. You get what i mean. We had to rush to the toliets for shelter as it was the nearest one to our "base camp". Most of our bags got wet, but it was us who got wet totally. One moment it was BRIGHT and SUNNY, next moment, POURING. Mother Earth is going crazy. >_<

We spent nearly one hour standing in the shelter talking, while waiting for the rain to lighten a bit. Oh ya, I took like 24 min to run almost 5km. Super slow rite?

Anw I went to bus stop to wait for my parents and that was almost it. Then the day became (almost) meaningless again.

Today was the finals of the ANGLES competition in school, and it was definitely not surprising that iSpark won the top two spots, with gui an getting first and chun jie (cj for short) second. My consortium also won the overall consortium trophy and its like duh? we won it 5 times in the last 6 years (: LOL yeah we rock!

There is just too much work and projects!!!

Anw, I got 24/30 for my geog test, 27.5/35 for my sci and 15/20 for my his. and they are all A1. yay. There was a 2nd math test today and the 2nd cl one is one fri, so i need to revise. sad :(

first of all, I must start posting by screaming this out loud:

Ok, now i will talk abt yesterday. It was SUPER BORING. Let me emphasise again----SUPER BORING. At least there was consortium assembly yesterday which ate up half of the LA lesson (hehe), or it would have been DEAD BORING.

Then there was CCA after school at 2.30 and we were supposed to go to macritchie reservoir for training. As we were walking out of the school compound, I was hoping to see etsuko, but which I didnt. duh. and while walking up the bridge, we saw melissa and maya walking down. (I think she was waving to zheng jie as we both saw her...) anw we (as in me+zj+cca frens) almost missed the buses, but we managed to be faster than the 74... When we reached, we realised we were the first group to reach there, after si heng, at ard , 3.15? we waited for the second batch of people to come at 3.30 which consisted of like 20 people? lols. Oh ya, we were supposed to run a 8km time trial on the HSBC treetop walk route, which was... i still managed to finish in 43min29sec, which is totally gay, and zheng jie finished in 40.20...Anw my coach said we were quite good for a start. lols (: we then waited for the coach at the cafe (you know that only cafe?) and while he was talking to us, a monkey appeared! And it tried to steal my coach's dunno hu's bottle of drink. it was scary man. after we tried scaring it away, it climbed up on the shelter and looked like it was going to pounce on us. Then it jumped onto a nearby table to drink some leftover coffee. My cca fren then said “猴子，你今晚睡不着了。”lol. Then he called for the cafe owner, which was definitely experienced in handing this types of situations. He threw a water bag and some bottles at the monkey (almost) and successfully scared it away. Oh and while my coach were talking to us, he said the s1 did very well(did i say this jus now?) and we needed to walk back to school from macritchie, and for most of the rest, the needed. LOL. But 4 of the s1 decided to jog back to school so we had to carry things for them. haha (:

We took 852 back to school and not to far away from the bus stop, we pass those people who were running back to school (HAHA!!!) xD Then we reached back hci like 20-30min early than other people... we played soccer while waiting for them and many of us were trying to score like paul scholes, 25m mid-air shot.lols. And i found out that yi zhe was asked to go for pole vault (and his coach is also my coach and the other coach) and i presumed his purpose is to be able to jump high enough to see the girls from nygh... hehe :p We played for quite a while back then.

Btw, my hp nids a few more days before it id done repairing, so... and i think we are going to macritchie again next week to run 5km time trial.

Nobody should bother calling or sms me, cus my hp is in the j8 repair center (: I made my mother so super duper angry that she smashed it on the floor(luckily there was a pouch,or else it would have...) and the lcd screen inside the hp broke... Had to pay $123.05 to repair a $38 phone. lols. Argh real sad man. No phone for atl east a week. Anw if I dont get to post the next few days, i would like to wish everyone a scary fri the 13th and a lovely valentine's day (espeacially sb...)now. & dont forget anything.lols.

Yesterday, I just went to the dentist to had 2 teeth extracted. Lost lots of blood in the process. Although it has been a day already, I'm still feeling very weird (in my mouth, of course) xD
Then i had to go to my father's friends' houses to bai nian all afternoon.

On Friday, my class had to endure 2 hrs of math lesson straight. It was getting so boring towards the end that I almost switched off...But at least there was sci lesson afterwards and we got to burn ice cream sticks! yizhe and me burnt the ice cream stick until it was almost blackened (:
